200W 12VDC to 120VAC Wagan Power Inverter with USB Port

Inverter review:

I’ve owned this inverter for about a month and it is completed absolutely nothing but function the way it really should. I make standard 2-hour trips (one-way) and it is able to run my laptop (input: 19V 6.3A 120W) and charge my cellphone (moto droid) simultaneously without having any troubles. I bought this inverter particularly to power my laptop for the duration of an 8-hour trip and it worked flawlessly. I was able to stream video, and do cpu/gpu intensive activities for the duration of the trip no issue.

The device does not have any negative qualities as far as I’m concerned, but if I had to point out some “cons” then there’s the truth that it makes a high pitch noise when it is under load (but, it is not loud and fades into the background, unless the auto is off). And, it gets hot immediately after extended periods of use, but that is to be expected. The cord is often a bit brief, so you will not have the ability to plug it into the front seat power socket and have it sitting on the back seat floor panel, but my laptop’s power cable was lengthy enough to compensate, so once more, not a severe concern.
