100W Inverter Circuit with IRF540

100W inverter circuit with IRF540

This is the 100W power inverter circuit which powered using a MOSFET IRF540 instead of ordinary transistor (eq 2N3055). As we know, the FET is much better compared to the ordinary transistor in both stability and responsibility. The circuit applied IC 4047 to generate continuous wave signal and IRF540 to amplify the signal to be stepped up by the transformer. Take a note that you’ll need a 2-3A center tapped transformer to handle/supply 100W load.

Inverter, is an electronic device or circuitry that changes direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). The input voltage, output voltage and frequency, and overall power handling depend on the design of the specific device or circuitry. The inverter does not produce any power; the power is provided by the DC source.
